Christine (Xiaoyu) Ding
Biography
Christine focuses on regulatory investigations, complex commercial litigations, and cross-border disputes for U.S. and non-U.S. clients.
With a distinct perspective attributable to having been a judge with extensive legal experience in China, Christine advises clients on US-China related issues and disputes with understanding of legal and regulatory regimes, culture differences, and geopolitical dynamics in both jurisdictions.
Christine advises multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and joint ventures, including investment banks, pharmaceutical companies, technology companies, and other companies.
Christine has acted as counsel in investigations by the SEC, the CFTC, and the DOJ, and other authorities and in matters in state and federal courts.

- Counsel to financial institutions in the SEC and the CFTC investigations regarding issues including off-channel communication.
- Counsel to a technology company in the SEC investigations regarding issues including door keeper responsibilities.
- Counsel to multinational pharmaceutical and technology companies in multiple investigations with advice on associated regulatory and litigation risks in China.
