Biography
Tommaso has almost 15 years of experience and focuses on insolvency and restructuring.
He has represented debtors and debtors in possession, distressed funds, secured creditors and unsecured creditors’ committees, agents, bank groups, senior and mezzanine lenders, trustees and receivers in all types of debt restructuring, litigation and reorganization proceedings, including out-of-court procedures. Tommaso also has wide experience in corporate/M&A deals (both asset and share deals) as well as inmanaging business plans,balance sheets and, in general, all the financial data of a company.
Tommaso has a civil law background and solid experience in the litigation/ADR sector, especially in the banking, factoring, leasing and operational lease matters and in all kind of company liability actions.
Selected experience
- Italian banks in several projects for the sale of NPL/UTP loans and relevant agreements.
- A company operating in the oil&gas sector in negotiated composition proceedings and restructuring plans (piano attestato di risanamento) pursuant to article 56 of the Crisis and Insolvency Code.
- One of the major Italian bank in the financial restructuring of a company operating in the oil&gas sector (over EUR200 million in debt).
- An AIFM based in Luxembourg for the liquidation of an alternative Italian real estate fund (owner of asset having a market value of about EUR80 million).
- An energy group which had more than EUR256 million in debt. Assistance included two compositions with creditors proceedings, one agreement according to art. 67 of the former Bankruptcy Law and one agreement according to art. 182bis of the former Bankruptcy Law.
