Tom Lindley
Biography
Tom advises sponsors, lenders, governments, and contractors on the development and delivery of major energy and infrastructure projects in APAC and around the world.
He has experience advising across a wide range of sectors, including power (renewables, hydro, EfW, nuclear, thermal), water, oil & gas (including LNG), energy transition (including power-to-X developments, hydrogen and derivatives, carbon capture, use and storage and sustainable marine and aviation fuels) and transport.
Tom has particular experience drafting and negotiating key project contracts (such as EPC/construction and O&M contracts, concession agreements, offtake/supply arrangements, tolling structures and joint venture agreements), as well as advising on their subsequent implementation during all stages of a project’s life.

Selected experience
- An IOC as operator and lead developer on the development of an LNG project in Asia with integrated CCS. The sole international sponsor on all aspects of the development of the Cabinda Oil Refinery in Angola. A major sponsor on its participation in developing and operating a CCS hub offshore Malaysia. A Japanese client on its development of a bagasse waste derived SAF project in Latin America. The project company on the development and operation of a first-in-kind cross-border hydropower project in South Asia. The project company in connection with the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Pipeline project.
