Marketa Cisarova
Biography
Markéta is an expert in resolving disputes and advising on employment law and compliance matters.
She is the CEE Anti-bribery and Corruption coordinator. Marketa helps clients navigate complex people and rewards issues in corporate settings, from advisory and transactional work to cross-border restructuring, outsourcing and business transfers. She is well-versed in anti-corruption, AML and sanctions compliance and internal investigations. Markéta is an arbitrator at the Prague Stock Exchange Arbitration Court.
In its 2025 rankings the LEGAL500 endorsed Markéta as a Leading associate for Dispute Resolution in the Czech Republic.

- A U.S. technology company Czech subsidiary in connection with various employment and benefits matters, including termination of underperforming employees, home-office arrangements, social security benefits and related administrative proceedings or parental benefits regime.
- A US listed international software company in relation to an employee misconduct investigation involving a number of jurisdictions, including principally the Czech Republic.
- Czech Export Bank in its arbitration proceedings against MezhtopEnergoBank concerning non-payment of purchase price for assigned receivables.
