Kristie’s experience includes advising global financial institutions including international banks, fund managers, asset managers and investment advisers on licensing requirements, marketing restrictions, product marketing restrictions, change in control requirements, disclosure of interests, virtual asset-related and other aspects of regulatory compliance in Hong Kong.

In particular, Kristie has assisted a leading insurer with change of control application and regulatory notifications in Hong Kong in the run up to listing. She has also advised a major securities group with an internal reorganisation involving an inter-group amalgamation, involving both change in control and fresh licensing applications. Kristie regularly advises banks and start-ups on virtual asset and tokenised securities-related issues. Kristie is a qualified solicitor in Hong Kong. She is fluent in English and Cantonese.
