Biography
Janice advises on a range of complex cross-border restructuring and insolvency situations, representing banks, funds, corporates, insolvency professionals and other stakeholders.
Janice has extensive experience in advising on debt and/or equity situations and in navigating restructuring and insolvency regimes of different jurisdictions to enhance and recover value whether on a bilateral, scheme of arrangement or enforcement basis.

- A co-ordinating committee of lenders on the restructuring of loans owed by CIFI Holdings (Group) Co. Ltd, a Hong Kong listed Chinese property developer.
- A co-ordinating committee of lenders on the restructuring of loans owed by Country Garden Holdings Company Limited, a Hong Kong listed Chinese property developer.
- An ad hoc group of noteholders on the restructuring of notes issued by Logan Group Company Limited, a Hong Kong listed Chinese property developer (previous firm experience).
- Joint and several administrators of the estate of a late property tycoon with assets valued over HK$140 billion, including representing the administrators in proceedings before the Hong Kong court (previous firm experience).
- A multinational investment bank on their loans to a sister group of Hin Leong Trading Pte Limited, a major oil trading group, subject to proceedings in Singapore (previous firm experience).
- A Chinese private equity firm as shareholder and lender to an oil and gas company with assets valued over US$1 billion (previous firm experience).
