Biography
Chris has 30 years’ experience advising on complex energy and infrastructure projects.
He advises both sponsors and financiers across the full range of energy and infrastructure sectors, both domestically and internationally. Chris has long been at the forefront of low carbon power and the energy transition, and in particular is a leading authority on offshore wind. Chris has been a partner for more than 20 years and is ranked Band 1 for Renewables and Alternative Energy.

Selected experience
- Masdar on the acquisition of a 49% stake in Dogger Bank South, an aggregate 3GW UK Round 4 offshore wind farm project.
- The lenders in relation to the financing of the acquisition of a 50% stake from a renewable energy company in the 1.3GW Hornsea Two Offshore Wind Farm. Winner of M&A Deal of the Year 2022, PFI 2023.
- A renewable energy company on the construction arrangements and sale (and related purchaser financing arrangements) of a 50% stake in the 605.2MW Greater Changhua 1 offshore wind project in Taiwan.
- A renewable energy company on the acquisition of 50% of Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 (development stage offshore wind projects in Poland) from PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA.
