• Intervest Offices & Warehouses, a leading Belgian logistics and office REIT and registered real estate company (RREC), on the voluntary public takeover bid by TPG Real Estate Partners.
• A consortium involving Besix Group; Stadsbader, I4B - The Belgian Infrastructure Fund, Rebel Group and Epico on the infrastructure project that seeks to develop and extend the R4 highway in Ghent, one of the largest Belgian PPP projects.
• Danaher Group and its subsidiary Esko on the sale of its digital finishing business, Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems to US private equity fund OpenGate Capital.
• Borealis, the world-leading chemicals, polyolefins and fertilizers provider, on the acquisition of a minority stake and subsequent increase of its stake to a majority stake in Renasci, a Belgian company active in the circular economy, to jointly develop novel recycling solutions to turn plastic waste into pyrolysis oil.
• Mercier Vanderlinden Asset Management on the sale to Van Lanschot Kempen, creating a Belgian wealth manager with more than EUR9bn in assets under management.Recticel, the Belgium listed manufacturer of insulation materials, on the acquisition of REX Panels & Profiles SA., specialized in the production of PIR and mineral wool insulated panels for the construction industry.
• Otary, the Belgian offshore wind developer (and itself a joint venture between 8 different parties active in renewables or off-shore), on the merger of the two wind offshore parks Mermaid (in which Engie, the Belgian electricity utility, also participated) and Seastar (in which Eneco, the Dutch utility, had an interest).
• Royal Vopak, the world’s leading independent tank storage company, on the acquisition of Gunvor Petroleum Antwerp, a storage tank terminal in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, from commodity trader Gunvor Group.
• SCR-Sibelco, a global leader in mining and glass recycling, on the sale of their global blast abrasives business by means of a multi-jurisdictional carve-out transaction, to EP Power Minerals GmbH.
• Waterland Private Equity (alongside founder Jonas Dhaenens) on the auction sale of Combell to HG Capital.
• Waterland Private Equity on the acquisition of Moore Belgium, an independent financial and consulting services provider.
